BOONE, Iowa---A 61-year old Ames man has apparently died as a result of a single vehicle rollover in northern Boone County Monday afternoon.

BOONE, Iowa---Boone Mayor John Slight was frustrated by developments that will now result in a special election. Plans to appoint someone to fill a Council vacancy failed to meet the 40-days time frame established in state law.

BOONE, Iowa---Boone City Economic Development Director Daryl Rensink has told the Council that he will be retiring the end of this year. Rensink wants the council to know so they could begin planning for the future.
