BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council has approved a second consideration on a new Social Hosting ordinance. Officials say it's another way to make sure adults and parents that are hosting events are responsible.

BOONE, Iowa---Many residents from Boone County travel to the Des Moines metor area on Iowa Highway 17. Beginning Monday, a detour is expected to be in place which will allow the Iowa DOT to work on the Des Moines River Bridge this summer.

MADRID, Iowa---The Iowa Arboretum is set for it's annual "Green Tie Affair" and spring plant sale this Friday and Saturday.
