BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council has voted to allow garbage trucks back in the alleys. The Council voted 4-2 to lift the ban during their meeting Monday.

BOONE, Iowa---Anderson Excavating of Omaha was selected as the contractor for a downtown demolition project in Boone. The bid was not the lowest, but a consultant noted it was the best bid the met the qualifications.

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Board of Supervisors consider the reading of a request to rezone property near the Ledges State Park. The rezoning is for a minor subdivision, but would involve use of a process called the conservation district overlay.
